SECURITY

MatrixOS approaches security through system design. The objective is a sealed execution environment with minimal background behavior, clear system boundaries, and reduced attack surface.

REDUCTION-FIRST

No third-party applications. No background services. No general-purpose multitasking. Security is strengthened by removing entire classes of risk and limiting interaction paths to controlled execution flows.

DEVICE VS MIRROR

Responsibilities are intentionally separated. The device is the execution surface. The Mirror app handles identity, funding rails, and jurisdictional requirements. This separation reduces on-device exposure while preserving controlled workflows.

CONTROLLED CONNECTIVITY

Connectivity is treated as an execution dependency, not a default state. The system is designed to keep network activity minimal and to limit connectivity when idle. Silent wake behavior avoids ambient signaling.

AUDIT POSTURE

Consequential actions generate internal receipts (REGISTRO) or security trace events (RASTRO). This supports auditability and operational integrity without publishing implementation detail or performance claims.
